Thankfully, we have seen a steady decrease in COVID-19 related hospitalizations in Glynn County. If you don't feel ready for this, no worries! As always, gather online @ 9 & 11 AM ET on Sundays on our website, YouTube, or Facebook Live for our Sunday services!
FAQ About resuming indoor in-person gatherings
What do I need to know?

We will continue to host indoor gatherings on Sundays at the SSI Campus. Our online services are also at 9 & 11 AM. This Sunday, Tiny Town, KidJam,1st-5th, and Middle School services will be at 11 AM only on Sunday, October 4th. Therefore, we ask for families without children to attend the 9 AM service if possible.

Due to our limited capacity in the sanctuary, we will seat everyone who arrives on a first come first serve basis. If we reach capacity in our sanctuary, we will be setting up other spaces around the SSI Campus to worship together and watch the teaching in our buildings. There is no need to register for our services.

As always, we encourage the use of masks, will practice social distancing, and continue to maintain our cleaning schedule as we seek to be good neighbors to those around us.

Thank you so much for your grace, patience, and understanding as we navigate this unique season!

*If you are at-risk, sick, or exposed to COVID-19, we encourage you to continue to join online.

We are #FORGLYNN. What does that mean in this season?

We are #FORGLYNN. During this season, we have desired to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Glynn County. We have sought the Lord in prayer, served our community, healthcare workers, and families all while continuing to meet outdoors & online.

We believe it is to the benefit of our entire community to consider the capacity and needs of our healthcare system as we make the decision to resume indoor in-person gatherings.

When do you expect we will return to indoor in-person gatherings?

We have identified our hospitalization numbers as an important indicator regarding the health of our community and recently these numbers have been decreasing.

We are excited to announce that we will resume indoor, in-person services beginning on Sunday, September 20th, at the SSI Campus at 9 & 11 AM. Thankfully, we have seen a steady decrease in COVID-19 related hospitalizations in Glynn County. With this development, we are ready to gather indoors again. As always, we will continue our online gatherings at 9 & 11 AM.

To provide for you and your family’s safety and health, you can expect our indoor services to look a little different. Please review our guidelines on what to expect as we gather! If you are at-risk, sick, or possibly exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, we encourage you to continue to join online.

*We continue talking with local healthcare officials, and this decision is based on what we know right now. This information is subject to change if hospitalization numbers change. As always, we are #FORGLYNN and will continue to be!

Do I need to register to attend the SSI Campus?

No! Just c'mon! 🙂

What should my family and I expect when we attend indoor in-person services?

When you arrive, you and your family can expect to be seated by ushers. In order to practice social distancing, we will have limited capacity seating in our main sanctuary. We ask that you and your family practice social distancing (lots of air hugs & air high fives 😉 , wash your hands frequently & use hand sanitizer, and wear a mask coming in and out of our buildings.

We will have hand sanitizer and masks available throughout our building at all times. Each space used will be cleaned before and after services and we will keep our main doors open in order to minimize the need to touch surfaces. We will not be serving coffee at this time in the atrium.

If you are at-risk, sick, or possibly exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, we encourage you to continue to join online.

Are masks required for staff, volunteers, and attendees?

We are asking that everyone attending our indoor services wear a mask upon entering and exiting our building. We will be practicing social distancing in our sanctuary. Once you take your seat you may remove your mask while seated if you are unable to keep it on during the length of the service.

All staff and volunteers will be required to wear masks at all times.

Will you continue to stream online?

Yes! All of our services will continue to gather online. As always, we will continue to create opportunities for community through all of our online platforms. If you aren't ready to attend in-person right now, no worries! We can't wait to "see" online each Sunday. We stream our Sunday services on Facebook, Youtube, and our website.

Serve our hospital

We are collecting handwritten notes of prayer and thanks to our overwhelmed hospital staff to say thank you and let them know we are praying for them. Please write your notes and drop them off at the SSI Campus (under the porch) or right inside Planet Fitness beside the BWK Campus.

We are also providing meals, prayer, and other items to our hospital. Would you like to get involved helping our local hospital? Email bryan@wearecommunity.church.
