In Care Team Ministry, members of our church body, using the curriculum of Stephen Ministries, are trained and equipped to walk alongside individuals going through big life challenges like grief, divorce, a medical crisis, job loss, and more. Our Care Team Ministers will offer care, support, and encouragement, connecting hurting people with Christ’s healing love during some of the hardest times in their lives.
“Stephen Ministers” are often called the After People. Ready to come alongside you, your friends, neighbors, coworkers, or relatives and provide comfort and support for as long after as needed. That is the love and service our Care Team Ministers will be trained to provide to our community.
Care Team Ministry is both a service provided to our Church body and a serving opportunity; Members of our congregation, using the curriculum of Stephen Ministries, are trained and equipped to walk alongside individuals going through big life challenges like grief, divorce, a medical crisis, job loss, and more. Our Care Team Ministers will offer care, support, and encouragement, connecting hurting people with Christ’s healing love during some of the hardest times in their lives.
Being a Care Team Minister is not meant to replace Pastoral Care or offer professional counseling. Care Team Ministers are trained to listen to, care for, and walk with those going through difficult times in life.
